The Global Caché GC-100 Network Adapter is the heart of system architecture. It connects a TCP/IP network to Infra-Red, Serial (RS232), and contact closure (relay) devices, allowing them to be automated, controlled and monitored over the network by third party software. It is used in wireless and wired environments and can be accessed over the internet. For some of the brands available on the market (Crestron, AMX, Lutron) there are complete application drivers available. Integrating Global Caché GC-100 Network Adapter into Crestron, AMX controlled environment can offer highly efficient, flexible, and more cost-effective solutions for dealers and installers addressing high volume multi-dwelling unit (MDU), boardroom, educational, and commercial installations.
